Originally designed in 1972 Omkstak has been in continuous production since with sales now exceeding one million units.

 

The chair is considered to be an icon of the start of the high tech era of design and is included in permanent collections of 20th century furniture around the world, including the V&A London, Design Museum London & Philadelphia Museum of Art.

 

Pressed steel panels are mounted to a powder coated tubular steel frame and finished in a matt powder coat. 

 

Available in six standard colours, custom colours available on request.

1965 by OMK

Founded in 1965 by Rodney Kinsman RDI, OMK designed and manufactured much of the furniture sold through Terence Conran’s Habitat stores in the 60’s and 70’s. 

 

A key figure in the High-Tech design movement, Kinsman’s products are regarded as icons of 20th century British design.

 

OMK 1965 is a collection curated from Kinsman's body of work. Produced in Italy maintaining the same original quality.
